How to Use the Border Calculator
Enter your finished quilt dimensions (before adding borders), select 1–5 borders, then enter each border's finished width. The calculator uses 40" usable fabric width by default — update this if your fabric is wider.
The calculator adds 0.5" to each finished border width for seam allowances and calculates total linear inches needed per border. Strips are assumed to be cut cross-grain (across the width of fabric).
Each border's yardage is shown separately since borders are often different fabrics. The total at the bottom combines all borders — useful when planning a same-fabric or scrappy border set.

外周（幅×2＋高さ×2）を測り、コーナーの重なり分としてボーダー幅×8を加えます。布幅で割ってストリップ数を求め、カット幅を掛けて総ヤード数を計算します。
ボーダーストリップの幅はどのくらいにすればよいですか？
仕上がりボーダー幅＋1.5cm（縫い代分）でカットします。仕上がり7.5cmのボーダーならカット幅は9cmです。
同じ布地をすべてのボーダーに使えますか？
はい。表示される総ヤード数は必要な合計量です。同じ布地を使う場合はすべてのストリップを一度にカットできます。
